Menu Planning
I’m not so good with the menu planning thing. But it isn’t summer any more. And I have lots of places to be and these people who live with me still want to eat — a lot. So….my life is forcing me to be more organized.
Here’s what I’m planning.
Monday: Pasta with meatballs, sauteed spinach with garlic, bread
Tuesday: Turkey subs with pesto and tomato, sweet potato fries and roasted broccoli
Wednesday: Sauteed chicken tenders with sauce, broccoli leftovers, rice
Thursday: Pasta leftovers, sauteed spinach, fruit, bread,
Friday: chicken nachos, rice, fruit
Saturday: Salmon with lemon butter sauce, sauteed cherry tomatoes, rice, fruit
Sunday: Turkey subs with pesto and tomato, fries, fruit (lunch)
Breakfast for dinner – Breakfast for dinner – eggs, bacon, biscuits, fruit
I think that is it. You nutrition police don’t come get me, okay? This week is my experiment of what can happen when I have a plan. I’ll let you know how it turns out.
Update: The best laid plans aren’t worth squat when the debit card isn’t brought on the grocery trip. So I reckon my experiment with having a plan will be postponed until tomorrow. Typical.
