These awesome folks lived just down the row from us on Gulf a few years ago. What dear people, y’all. Among other heroic acts, Austin entertained our boys while we were packing during a massive power outage 2 years ago and Megan listened patiently to all of our 3rd oldest son’s intricate, long stories. That alone puts them on the list of totally great people.

Right now, they are in Peru. Austin, who is a medical student at UAB, is learning things in a medical missionary clinic. It is really interesting to read about his reflections about Peru, the clinic, the poverty, and the culture there. I hope that y’all go give it a read.
