Occasionally Nosy
would describe me pretty well. For example: I’m not at all interested in gossip and you have no need to worry about me snooping in your medicine cabinet should I be a visitor at your home or anything like that, but I’m very keen to see what people are buying at the grocery store or books that they are checking out of the library.

There was this one time when I got behind my pediatrician at the grocery store. Her entire order was comprised of dozens of cans of corned beef hash (like so many that the grocery belt was full) and a couple of bottles of fancy chocolate liquor.

I still haven’t riddled that one out.

So, because I like to share and because I’m too lazy to talk about what I’m reading at present I thought that I’d just share a picture of my book pile.

Unlike my pediatrician that day at the store, I think that this book pile is pretty straightforward. Let’s see…lately I’ve been interested in cooking fast meals, studying for the GRE, organizing my disorganized student, reading books about writing, and I’ve also reread sections of The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime and Catching Fire, along with the two other books in the Hunger Games trilogy. I enjoyed those immensely. Oh yes, not pictured is Nina Garcia’s Look Book: What to Wear for Every Occasion which will help me so much, you know, since I’m firmly in T-shirt and jeans mode. I enjoyed reading it, pertinent to my life or not. Now I know what to wear, I guess, should the situation require.
